Aims of the Programme:-

                 M.Ed. (1^stYear & 2^ndYear) Programme is designed to provide opportunities for students to extend as well as deepen their knowledge and understanding of Education, specialize in select areas, and also develop research capacities, leading to specialization in either elementary education or secondary education.

Duration:-

                 The M.Ed. programme shall be of duration of two academic years with four semesters including field attachment for a minimum of 4 weeks and research dissertation. Students shall be permitted to complete the programme requirements of the two-year programme(four semesters) within a maximum period of three years (six semesters)from the date of admission to the programme.
